Transgrancanaria Poster.

126 km north to south across Gran Canaria, starting at midnight.

// The story

The Transgrancanaria Classic opens the European ultra season in late February. It starts at midnight on the beach at Las Palmas and crosses Gran Canaria diagonally to Maspalomas in the south — 126 kilometres and around 6,760 metres of climbing, through the pine forest of Tamadaba, past the Roque Nublo at the centre of the island, then down the ravines to the dunes. Most of the first half is run in the dark. RouteToWall renders the crossing as a single vector line, coast to coast, with the island’s profile beneath it.

// Frequently asked

Q.01Why does a diagonal crossing print so well?

Because the line spans the whole island corner to corner — the shape of Gran Canaria comes through even without a basemap, which is exactly what the minimal templates are built for.

Q.02Does it work for the Advanced, Marathon, Starter or Youth?

Yes — every Transgrancanaria distance renders with the same template family. Upload the GPX of the race you ran.

Q.03Can the midnight start be part of the poster?

Yes. Start and finish times come from your GPX and can be printed as a caption, alongside your total time and vertical.
